Hope's Abuse Case - Guatemala Rescues

🚨Hope’s Abuse Case in Guatemala - GRAPHIC IMAGES 🚨

This is Hope, a black Lab mix who we committed to rescuing from terrible conditions in Guatemala. Her neck was wrapped up in rope and wire, hanging off of the back of a truck. The fur had been worn away around her neck, and she had a serious wound around her entire neck. The tissue and skin there had been rubbed raw and was scarred and bleeding. We encounter abuse cases like this a few times a year (which is already too many), and these stories and photos always break my heart; she's seen more horrors and abuse from humans than any dogs should
ever have to see. This month, we're transporting her up from Guatemala to the US where she'll continue to
recover and eventually start her new life in a loving, safe forever home.

Please hug your fur babies when you're home today for us. We thank you for your continued support so that we can help in cases like this. We'll give updates on how she's doing and her story as we get her up to the
states.
